Descoperire epocală în Egipt: Una dintre minunile Lumii Antice ar putea fi redescoperită cu ajutorul acestui inel

A bronze seal ring depicting the Lighthouse of Alexandria has been discovered underwater near Alexandria, Egypt. This artifact may aid in the digital reconstruction of the ancient wonder. The ring was found by a team from the European Institute of Underwater Archaeology and the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities in the ruins of a submerged palace on Antirhodos Island. The image on the ring resembles previous representations found on coins from the 2nd century. The discovery highlights the palace's historical significance during the Ptolemaic period. Researchers believe the ring could have been used for sealing documents, and its design may include features representing smoke from a lamp atop the lighthouse, furthering efforts to digitally reconstruct this ancient marvel.
