Descoperire arheologică. Un vas cu text în greacă, găsit într-o cetate dacică de pe vremea lui Burebista • Newsweek România
A rare archaeological discovery was made in a Dacian fortress from Burebista's era, where a Greek-inscribed vessel was found. The inscription indicates it belonged to 'King B...'. Ongoing excavations since 1968 have revealed numerous artifacts that shed light on the life of the Geto-Dacian communities. The site, known as 'Cetățuie', was a significant political and religious center during the 1st century BC. Among the findings are ceramics, tools, jewelry, and a treasure of silver coins, suggesting local minting activity. This discovery highlights the importance of the site in the Geto-Dacian world and raises the possibility of it being a royal residence.
