Descoperire arheologică spectaculoasă lângă București: O locuință veche de 6.500 de ani, din cultura Gumelnița, a fost scoasă la iveală

Archaeologists at the Glina-Bălăceanca site near Bucharest have uncovered a 6,500-year-old unburned dwelling from the Gumelnița culture. The recent findings include deep storage pits and well-preserved domestic structures, revealing insights into prehistoric life. Notable discoveries include a complete anthropomorphic figurine and various artifacts from both the Gumelnița and Boian cultures. Ongoing research also involves an early Bronze Age burned dwelling, yielding numerous ceramic fragments and miniature clay wheels. The excavation site has engaged local youth through educational workshops, emphasizing the importance of sharing archaeological knowledge.
