Descoperire arheologică rară în România. O locuință neolitică de acum 6.500 de ani, găsită lângă București • Newsweek România
A significant archaeological discovery near Bucharest revealed a 6,500-year-old unburned Neolithic dwelling from the Gumelnița culture. The find was made at the Glina-Bălăceanca site, where multiple structures were uncovered, including a well-preserved anthropomorphic figurine. Researchers also identified deep storage pits and remnants of earlier Boian culture contexts. Ongoing excavations continue to uncover artifacts from the early Bronze Age, including ceramic fragments and miniature clay wheels, providing insights into ancient domestic life.
