Descoperire arheologică la Iași: morminte vechi de mii de ani, găsite în tumulii din Andrieșeni / S-au folosit tomografii electrice înainte de săpături

An exceptional archaeological discovery has been made in Iași County, revealing three ancient graves, including a medieval tomb and two from the Bronze and Iron Ages. The research took place from July 18-25 in Spineni, where a necropolis with five burial mounds was identified. Modern non-invasive technologies were employed prior to excavation, and the team plans to conduct annual campaigns to further investigate the site. The project aims to expand research on these funerary monuments, which are rare in the area, according to project coordinator Dr. Ciprian-Cătălin Lazanu.
