Descoperire arheologică în zona Spineni, comuna Andrieşeni: trei complexe funerare vechi de mii de ani

Three ancient burial complexes were discovered in Andrieşeni during archaeological research conducted in July. These findings are significant for understanding prehistoric funerary practices in the Jijia valley. The excavations revealed one burial from the 10th-11th centuries and two from the late Bronze Age to early Iron Age. The project aims to evaluate archaeological heritage in the area, focusing on tumulus monuments. Researchers utilized both non-invasive and invasive methods for their investigations. Future campaigns are planned to explore the entire necropolis.
