Spanish archaeologists have uncovered a 4,400-year-old intact tomb in Egypt, belonging to a high-ranking official from Pharaoh Djedkare Isesi's administration. The tomb, located in Saqqara, features two burial chapels adorned with colorful reliefs depicting agricultural activities and offerings. This significant discovery, made during summer excavations led by the Autonomous University of Barcelona and the Supreme Council of Antiquities, highlights the exceptional preservation of scenes and inscriptions. The tomb reflects the social ascent of Yunmen, who shared the burial site with his father, Iti, and provides valuable insights into ancient Egyptian architecture and administrative life during the late Fifth Dynasty.
