DNA prosecutors conducted searches at the Timișoara Public Finance Administration regarding potential corruption linked to tax audits. Several offices were targeted, and relevant documents were seized. Among those investigated is Andrei Varga, son of businessman Neluțu Varga, although official charges have not been disclosed. Inspector Dacian Ion Crainic is also involved, suspected of bribery related to tax control activities. The investigation is ongoing and led by the Central Structure of DNA.
