DIICOT has raided a drug trafficking group in Hunedoara, involving Peruvians and Danes, linked to illegal Ayahuasca ceremonies. The event, promoted online, aimed to connect participants with their inner selves while distributing high-risk drugs. Three individuals were detained for international drug trafficking, with evidence of significant quantities of illegal substances found during the raid. The investigation revealed that participants were recruited through interviews, with fees ranging from 590 to 650 euros, covering ceremonies and accommodation. The authorities discovered preparations for drug consumption at the venue, including hallucinogenic mushrooms and other illicit materials.
