Depresia postpartum este un fenomen pe care îl observăm din ce în ce mai acut. Psiholog: Rolul familiei este esențial
Psychologist Iolanda Creșulescu highlighted the increasing prevalence of postpartum depression among new mothers, emphasizing the importance of family support. Many women do not recognize their symptoms, making it crucial for families to be involved. She explained that postpartum depression is a real disorder that can manifest within the first month or even six months after childbirth, characterized by deep sadness and anxiety. Creșulescu advised that support should focus on the mother's well-being, not just the baby, and that family members should proactively help with household tasks. She cautioned against minimizing the mother's feelings and stressed the need for emotional connection between mother and child.
