Dentons a asistat finanțarea IFC pentru proiectul BESS Gura Ialomiței

Global law firm Dentons provided legal assistance to International Finance Corporation and Kommunalkredit Austria AG for a €48.5 million facility for the Gura Ialomiței battery storage project in Romania. The financing includes €40 million for capital investment and an additional €8.5 million for VAT, supporting the construction of the remaining 100 MW / 200 MWh capacity. This project will establish the largest operational battery storage capacity in Romania and one of the largest in Central and Eastern Europe, expected to commence commercial operations in early 2027. Dentons coordinated the transaction, offering legal advice on English, Romanian, and Belgian law.
