Denisovienii au trăit timp de 100.000 de ani într-o peșteră din China
Anthropologists have discovered the first Denisovan arm bone in a cave in southwest China, revealing insights into this ancient human lineage. The cave, used for over 100,000 years, contained human fossils, stone tools, and animal bones, indicating that Denisovans thrived in a forested environment. This discovery adds to the limited knowledge about Denisovans, who lived alongside Neanderthals and modern humans. The findings suggest that Denisovans hunted large animals and crafted tools from local materials, differing from the more sophisticated tools of Neanderthals. Further research is needed to understand their adaptive behaviors and interactions with other hominins.
