Demnitarii români trebuie să își declare averile
The Chamber of Deputies has adopted the new Integrity Law, requiring Romanian officials to declare their assets. The law passed with 222 votes in favor and will now go to the Senate for final approval. Significant changes were made following protests from PSD and civil society. While the obligation to submit asset declarations remains, a new public financial interest declaration has been introduced. This declaration will be generated automatically and published online by the Agency within 60 days. The law specifies which public officials must disclose their financial interests, ensuring transparency while protecting personal data.
