Grindeanu emphasized that discussions did not involve Romanian politics and that the decision to change Bolojan was based on parliamentary votes, not external influence. He criticized attempts to link his meeting with Guilfoyle to Bolojan's ousting as propaganda aimed at restoring the former premier's image. Additionally, he dismissed allegations regarding negotiations for American gas imports, asserting that no pressure was applied on Romgaz regarding contracts.
