Demersul privind Tezaurul României de la Moscova avansează la APCE

Senator Titus Corlățean announced progress on the initiative at the Council of Europe regarding the Romanian Treasure held in Moscow since World War I. The legal committee will appoint a rapporteur to draft a European report on the issue. Corlățean, alongside Iulian Bulai, submitted a resolution signed by 25 European parliamentarians from various countries. The aim is to recover the treasure, which includes gold reserves and cultural artifacts. Corlățean emphasized the need for cooperation from the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Bank. He criticized the current government for neglecting this issue in their foreign policy agenda.
