He noted that interest expenses have risen over 26% by July, exceeding 40 billion. Nazare stressed the importance of controlling the deficit to prevent further increases in these expenses. He highlighted that the deficit has decreased by over 28 billion lei compared to last year, while investments have grown by nearly 24%. Nazare reiterated the need for fiscal discipline to ensure Romania's economic credibility and avoid burdening future generations with debt.
