Deficitul scade, dar economiștii avertizează: România rămâne în scenariul recesiunii, iar leul s-ar putea deprecia în următoarele luni

In June, the macroeconomic confidence indicator rose due to better-than-expected budget deficit reduction and relative calm in the Iran conflict, yet it remains indicative of a recession. The CFA Romania Association reported a 7-point increase in the confidence indicator to 37.5 points, with current conditions and expectations also improving. Inflation expectations slightly increased to 7.63%, with most analysts predicting a decrease in inflation over the next year. Economists foresee a depreciation of the leu against the euro, with public debt expected to rise to 63% of GDP. The survey indicates a stagnant residential property market and anticipates Brent oil prices at $85 per barrel.
