Deficitul comercial a scăzut cu 1,1%, la 19,28 miliarde de euro, în primele şapte luni, potrivit Institutului Naţional de Statistică

In the first seven months of 2026, Romania's trade balance deficit was 19.276 billion euros, a slight decrease compared to the previous year. In July 2026, exports reached 9.247 billion euros while imports totaled 12.069 billion euros, resulting in a deficit of 2.822 billion euros. Year-on-year, exports increased by 4.1% and imports by 4.2%. For the January to July period, exports amounted to 58.269 billion euros, up 3.1%, while imports rose by 2.0% to 77.546 billion euros. The main contributors to trade were machinery and transport equipment, along with other manufactured goods. Intra-EU trade accounted for a significant portion of both exports and imports, while extra-EU trade represented a smaller share.
