Total revenues reached 342.52 billion lei, a 10.3% increase from the previous year, driven by higher tax collections, particularly from VAT and income taxes. The government emphasized the importance of maintaining fiscal discipline to uphold investment ratings and ensure economic stability. Total expenditures slightly increased to 383.55 billion lei, with significant cuts in current spending while protecting public investments.
