Deficit de profesori la început de an școlar: Fizica, Chimia, Matematica și disciplinele tehnice, printre materiile cu probleme

As the new school year approaches, Romanian schools face a shortage of teachers, particularly in STEM subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The Ministry of Education acknowledges that some classes are being covered by retired teachers or those with different specializations. Despite a high number of candidates passing the teaching qualification exam, the distribution is uneven, leaving many positions unfilled, especially in technical disciplines. The situation is critical, with over 254 vacancies reported in Alba County alone. Schools will hold competitions to fill these gaps, but the reliance on retired teachers remains a concern.
