Dedeman has sued the Romanian state for recalculating compensation for a 133 square meter land expropriated for the Iași bypass. The state offered 671.90 lei, while Dedeman demands 250 euros per square meter, arguing the state’s valuation does not reflect the land's true worth. The company claims it was not legally notified of the compensation decision made in September 2020 until 2026. Dedeman also argues that the partial expropriation could decrease the value of the remaining land and requests an expert assessment to determine any depreciation. If confirmed, they seek compensation for the difference in value.
