This measure comes as Ukraine intensifies strikes on Russian economic and logistical targets. The decree applies to sectors like energy, industry, and logistics, enabling the government to intervene if entities are deemed incapable of safeguarding their assets. Vice Premier Denis Manturov clarified that this should not be seen as a move towards widespread nationalization. The decision follows increased Ukrainian attacks on Russian infrastructure, including logistics centers and oil refineries, highlighting the growing pressure on Russia's economy.
