The decision comes after CSM Bucharest publicly criticized the officiating in their match against Gloria Bistrita, which ended in a 40-38 victory for Bistrita after extra time. The suspension will take effect on August 29 and will apply to the Women's National League. CSM Bucharest questioned the criteria for appointing the referees and demanded accountability. Despite the controversy, Gloria Bistrita went on to win the Supercup, completing a triple victory in 2026.
