Decizie de ultimă oră în dosarul 'împăratului' Cristian Anton: Fostul șef ARR din dosarul examenelor trucate și al banilor în cutii de pantofi rămâne după gratii
Cristian Anton, former head of the Romanian Road Authority, remains in preventive detention for another 30 days after his request for house arrest was denied. The Cluj Tribunal extended his detention until August 28, 2026, following a proposal from the National Anticorruption Directorate. Anton faces charges of bribery, misuse of confidential information, and forming an organized criminal group. His associate, Bogdan-Alexandru Radu, is also implicated in the case. Investigators found nearly 500,000 euros at Anton's residence, with some funds hidden in various locations. The decision can be contested within 48 hours.
