Decizie a CCR pentru victimele animalelor sălbatice: Daunele morale nu vor mai fi calculate în funcție de venit sau de alte formule matematice • Social Biz Brasov

The Romanian Constitutional Court has changed the compensation system for victims of wild animal attacks, removing a discriminatory legal provision. The judges unanimously ruled that calculating moral damages based on the victim's salary or minimum wage violates principles of legality and equality. Previously, compensation was determined by a fixed mathematical formula linked to inactivity days and monthly income. The court emphasized that moral damages should not follow a rigid financial pattern, allowing judges to assess each case individually for fair reparations.
