The Bucharest Tribunal annulled a decision by Carrefour Romania to assign a store director to a general mission involving operational visits to various stores, ruling it altered both the workplace and job responsibilities without employee consent. The court found that while a mobility clause allowed for some relocation, it did not permit such extensive changes to the employee's role. The tribunal reinstated the employee to their previous position with full responsibilities, but rejected claims of discrimination and moral harassment, stating there was insufficient evidence. The employee was also ordered to pay legal costs to Carrefour.
