Dani Mocanu and his brother Ionuț Nando Mocanu are appealing their prison sentences for attempted murder, but their latest request was rejected by the Brașov Court of Appeal. Despite their efforts to annul the sentences, the court deemed their revision request inadmissible and ordered them to pay judicial costs. Ionuț Nando Mocanu has received a reduction in his prison term due to time served in preventive detention. Both brothers were extradited from Italy after being convicted for a violent incident in 2022 at a gas station in Pitești, where they attacked a man with a metal bar. Dani received a four-year sentence, while Ionuț was sentenced to seven years, with reductions for time already served.
