Debitul Dunării va crește din 13 august, anunță ANAR

The National Administration Apele Române announced that the Danube's flow will remain stable until August 12, with a slight increase expected after August 13, 2026. Measures taken, including submerging four barges, have ensured the necessary flow for the safe operation of the Cernavodă Nuclear Power Plant. Currently, the flow at the Danube's entry into Romania is at a historic low of 1,400 mc/s, but it is projected to rise to 1,450 mc/s after August 13. The water level at Cernavodă has decreased by 2 cm, but authorities believe they have gained at least four days of buffer time. Continuous monitoring of the hydrological situation is being conducted.
