The Danube's flow was measured at 1,500 cubic meters per second, significantly lower than the September average of 3,800 cubic meters per second. The National Institute of Hydrology forecasts a slight increase, but levels will remain well below the long-term average. Additionally, several localities in Gorj and Dolj are experiencing water supply restrictions, while southern reservoirs maintain significant water reserves. Nationally, large reservoirs are at 65.99% capacity, highlighting the importance of careful water management during this period.
