The Danube recorded a flow of 1,500 cubic meters per second, significantly lower than the average of 3,800. While a slight increase is forecasted, it will still remain well below the average. Many interior rivers are also experiencing low flows, leading to restrictions in some areas. The Jiu River basin is under close monitoring due to reduced water levels, with specific restrictions already in place for certain users. Despite these challenges, some reservoirs in southern regions maintain high water levels, ensuring some capacity to manage the situation. Nationally, large reservoirs are at about 66% capacity, highlighting the importance of careful water management during this period.
