He highlighted the contradiction in EU policies that push for a green economy while Romania rapidly closes coal energy production, contrasting it with Poland's continued reliance on coal. De Mezzo emphasized the negative impact of such policies on the economy, arguing that they are ineffective and harmful for both Romania and the EU.
