De la tartă cu mere și socată la sarmale și gulaș: ce primesc la masă turiștii care se cazează la „A lu’ Escana” din Porumbacu / video
Andreea Esca and her husband have transformed their family home in Porumbacu into a cultural hub offering local cuisine and community events. The house, built on the site of her grandparents' home, serves as a vacation spot for family, friends, and tourists. Alexandre Eram mentioned that the village has 11 guest houses with around 50 tourist accommodations, totaling up to 100 in the area. Their initiative aims to preserve local heritage and revive Romanian villages, with a focus on restoring old wooden houses. The location, named 'A lu’ Escana', offers traditional dishes and supports local community involvement in its operations. The project also emphasizes cultural impact, hosting events like concerts that engage local residents.
