De la ministru la director la BYD / Péter Szijjártó apără investiția chinezească în fața Comisiei de Securitate / „Un mare succes pentru Ungaria”

Former Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó views the establishment of the BYD factory in Szeged as a significant achievement for Hungary. He emphasized that government subsidies for the factory are within normal limits for such investments. Szijjártó addressed misconceptions regarding foreign workers, stating that strict regulations were previously implemented. He noted that the factory's infrastructure developments are proportionate to other major investments in Hungary. The National Security Committee is investigating Szijjártó's future role at BYD and potential national security risks. He voluntarily attended the hearing despite not being legally required to do so.
