De la importuri de peste 2.000 MW la export sâmbătă seara / Producția eoliană a acoperit și duminică dimineață aproape 37% din energia României
Romania experienced a significant increase in wind energy production, allowing it to cover peak consumption and even export electricity. On Saturday evening, wind turbines generated around 2,500 MW, contributing nearly 37% of the national output. This shift came after a week of low wind contributions, with the country previously relying on energy imports. By Sunday morning, wind energy continued to play a crucial role, providing 2,076 MW, or 36.94% of total production. The situation is temporary, as a decrease in wind could lead to renewed import needs.
