CATTIA in Brașov is set to finally receive a public park after over a decade of planning, with a new concept being developed for over 5 hectares. The area will focus on relaxation and leisure for local residents, particularly in Bartolomeu – Avantgarden. Initial regeneration efforts have already transformed part of the land into an urban forest with over 15,000 trees and shrubs. The local administration aims to create a park that can host cultural events, responding to community needs. The CATTIA center has served various purposes since its inception in 2014, including as a vaccination center during the pandemic, and is now being revitalized as a business incubator.
