De ce s-a filmat „Lumea care va veni” la Dâmbovicioara

The film "The World to Come," directed by Mona Fastvold, was shot in Romania's Dâmbovicioara village to replicate 1856 rural New York. The production team built houses and farms from scratch, utilizing the natural landscape of the Carpathians to create an isolated setting. Filming took place over 24 days, capturing seasonal changes, with the real environment enhancing the film's atmosphere. The film features Katherine Waterston and Vanessa Kirby, who filmed nearby. Although Dâmbovicioara remains accessible, the constructed farms are not open to the public as attractions.
