De ce România nu cere ajutor european, cu toate că ard 400 de hectare din Domogled? Incendiul care arde de aproape o lună parcul național

A forest fire has been raging in Domogled National Park for nearly a month, affecting around 400 hectares. Despite the ongoing situation, Romania has not requested additional assistance from the EU's Civil Protection Mechanism. The General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations believes current resources are sufficient, while environmental groups argue that aerial support is necessary due to the challenging terrain. The fire has also impacted nearby areas, with smoke reaching Băile Herculane. This is the second major fire in the region within months, raising concerns about biodiversity and the potential for further damage. Agent Green is urging Romanian authorities to seek European aid.
