Mateiu expressed relief that there were no casualties and highlighted the importance of accelerating military capabilities to track and neutralize such threats. He warned that Russia's ongoing attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure could pose risks to Romania, particularly as Ukraine increases its grain exports through Romanian ports. He stressed the necessity for military measures, diplomatic protests, and cooperation with allies to address these challenges, while acknowledging that complete defense against drone threats is unattainable.
