De ce nu ajută ploile de vară la diminuarea secetei. Climatolog: Sunt distribuite neuniform și nu acolo unde este nevoie mai mare
A new heatwave is approaching Western Europe, bringing temperatures up to 42 degrees Celsius. Romania faces severe drought, with water restrictions in 80 localities. Climatologist Roxana Bojariu noted that summer rains are less absorbable due to drought, and precipitation has decreased significantly in many regions. Meteorologist Elena Mateescu emphasized that heavy rains do not effectively alleviate drought conditions, as the soil cannot absorb the water quickly enough. Both heatwaves and intense rainfall are linked to climate change, leading to more frequent and severe weather events.
