Clotilde Armand was sentenced to one year in prison, suspended, for misusing her position to increase her salary through a project. The court found her actions illegal, leading to the conviction based on evidence from a criminal complaint. Armand is also required to undergo a two-year supervision period and has to return the amount of 18,720 lei gained from the project. The case stemmed from a complaint by former mayor Tudorache and involved findings of conflict of interest by the National Integrity Agency.
