De ce au scăzut rezervele BNR cu circa 5 miliarde de euro într-o lună: 2,7 miliarde de euro au mers către plata datoriei. SURSE: Restul ieșirilor, în moment de presiune puternică pe leu
Romania's foreign exchange reserves decreased by €4.8 billion in September, reaching €60.06 billion. This decline was primarily due to higher public debt repayments and ongoing pressures on the leu amid a prolonged political crisis. The National Bank of Romania (BNR) may have intervened to stabilize the leu, which hit a historic low against the euro. In September, the BNR recorded inflows of €3.3 billion but outflows totaled €8.1 billion, with over half attributed to debt payments. The political stalemate has further weakened the leu, raising concerns among investors about Romania's fiscal stability. The upcoming month shows reduced pressure from debt repayments, estimated at €350 million.
