Ukraine declined to accept Eurocopter Tiger helicopters from Australia due to high maintenance costs. The information was shared by Ukraine's ambassador to Australia, Vasil Miroshnychenko. Australia plans to replace these helicopters with American AH-64E Apaches and is withdrawing them from service. Despite the offer being free, Ukraine cited the challenges of operational readiness and pilot training as reasons for the refusal. Similar decisions have been made by Australia and Germany regarding the Eurocopter Tiger.
