De ce a interzis UE exporturile de oi și capre ale României - pagubă de 300 mil. euro pentru noi. Ce trebuie să facem - Economica.net
The European Commission has banned the export of sheep and goats from Romania due to a recent outbreak of Peste des Petits Ruminants (PPR). This decision, effective until December 31, 2026, follows a confirmed case in Mureș County. Romania had anticipated exports worth 300 million euros this year, having previously resumed shipments to Arab countries. The Commission emphasized the need for strict health measures to protect the EU's animal health status. To lift the ban, Romania may need to implement vaccination programs, with plans to vaccinate 1.2 million animals. Financial compensation mechanisms for affected farmers are also being considered.
