Romanian employees need an average of ten consecutive vacation days to fully recharge, which is less than the European average of 13 days. Over half of them believe a minimum of 7 to 14 days is necessary for complete recovery. Currently, they receive an average of 24 paid vacation days per year but desire around 31 days. Many employees must request vacation in advance, with a median notice of 29 days. Only 57% managed to take all their vacation days last year, highlighting the importance of managerial support and clear planning in encouraging time off.
