David Popovici is set to compete in the European Swimming Championships, aiming for a historic third consecutive title. The event will take place in Paris from August 7-16, featuring over 1,000 athletes from 52 countries. Romania's team includes 11 swimmers, with Popovici competing in the 100m and 200m freestyle events. For the first time, Romania will have representatives in all individual men's events. The competition will also include high-diving and classic diving events, with Romanian athletes expected to perform well.
