David Popovici în finală la 100m liber cu record la CE

David Popovici qualified for the 100m freestyle final at the European Championships with a time of 46.72 seconds, setting a new competition record. He led the semifinal from start to finish, despite competition from Egor Kornev. Popovici's time is the best in the event's history and he will swim from lane 4 in the final on August 12. He is the reigning European and world champion, holding both the competition and European records.
