David Popovici, cel mai bun timp din serii la 100 metri liber

David Popovici qualified for the semifinals of the 100m freestyle at the European Swimming Championships in Paris with the fastest time of 47.13 seconds. He initially turned second but quickly regained the lead, surpassing the previous best time set by Kristof Milak. Croatian Jere Hribar and Luca Hoek le Guenedal followed him in the rankings. Popovici's main rival, Egor Kornev, finished fifth in the heats. Other Romanian swimmers did not qualify for the semifinals, which will take place later today, with the final scheduled for Wednesday.
