The number of companies with unpaid debts increased to 48,028. The construction, trade, and transport sectors hold the largest debts. The state budget accounts for the majority of these debts, with social contributions totaling nearly 20 billion lei. Bucharest has the highest tax debts, followed by Ilfov County. The construction sector leads in unpaid taxes, followed by trade and industry.
