Datele personale a 8,8 milioane de cetățeni din Registrul Central al Persoanelor din Danemarca au fost accesate ilegal
Denmark is facing a significant cyber incident where personal data of 8.8 million individuals was illegally accessed for ten days in September. This breach involved unauthorized searches in the Central Person Register (CPR) using legitimate access from a private company. The Danish Minister of Digitalization, Christina Egelund, confirmed the breach and emphasized the seriousness of the situation, urging citizens to remain vigilant. The CPR is crucial for public services, containing data on both current residents and those who have passed away or moved abroad. Authorities are investigating the incident, which was first detected on October 2.
