Liechtenstein experienced a cyber attack that compromised data of around 31,000 legal entities, with the perpetrators still unidentified. The breach occurred on July 29-30, targeting the register of beneficial owners established to combat money laundering. Following the discovery of irregularities, the register was taken offline and an investigation was launched. A crisis cell was formed to address the incident and keep affected parties informed.
